Pasadena-based Nonprofit Provides 10 Local High School Graduates With Scholarships

Eye Dreams Inc. a local non profit that believes in “creating a community of overachievers” with a mission to create stronger and healthier communities by providing support, education, advocacy, and training to those in need will provide scholarships to 10 local high school graduates.

“Our programs empower the community to achieve their dreams and assist them in overcoming obstacles. Thus, leveling the playing field for the systematically disadvantaged,” according to a statement released by the group.

Titan Disposal, Jamie Potter, and Erin Nolen support these objectives and have provided this grant.

The donation helps graduating high school students in Pasadena/Altadena as they transition from the high school setting to other academic, trade training and/or entrepreneurial pursuits.

This scholarship was also made possible by Pasadena City Councilmember Tyron Hampton.

In addition to the cash scholarships Eye Dreams has programs designed to encourage and bolster these new adults on their path to economic development, growth and stability, which in turn contributes to a more productive and strong Pasadena.

This scholarship for High School graduates was made possible by Titan Disposal, along with Jamie Potter and Erin Nolen who combined to announce a $5,000 donation to Eye Dreams for these scholarships.
