Pasadena Black History Celebration Planning Committee Hosts Annual 2018 Red, Black, & Green Honors Dinner Saturday

Black History MonthThe Pasadena Black History Celebration Planning Committee is holding its honors dinner to celebrate civil rights leader Martin Luther King and Black History Month this Saturday, January 27, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Hilton Hotel.

The event will also to honor people in the community who are making a difference.

This year’s honorees, 2018 Pasadena Black History Parade Grand Marshalls, Ishmel Throne and Nicole Benard will be in attendance. Community Service Awards honorees include Ted Bates, Lynette West-Cater, George McGrudder, Darryl Qualls, and Rodney Wallace.
