A Pasadena city employee’s vehicle was rear-ended by an unknown driver at the intersection of Raymond Avenue and Villa Street on Thursday morning, March 21, according to Pasadena Police Lieutenant Matt Campeau.
The suspect, described only as a Black man between 20 and 30 years old, reportedly fled on foot before officers arrived.
The victim, a 53-year-old Altadena man who is a Pasadena city employee, reportedly complained of pain to his neck, back, and legs and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Both vehicles allegedly minor damage. Campeau said the suspect vehicle was impounded.
He said a further investigation regarding the collision is being conducted by the traffic section.
According to Campeau there was no available update on the victim’s condition at the time of reporting.
