The Pasadena Host Lions Club is set to present Vision Fest, a community event offering free vision services, on Saturday, March 2. The event will take place at the Salvation Army Tabernacle, located at 960 E. Walnut Street, Pasadena, from 8:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m.
Open to all ages, Vision Fest will operate on a first-come, first-serve basis, providing free vision screenings, refurbished prescription glasses, and resources for vision surgery. The screenings are intended to identify potential ocular health issues but are not a replacement for a comprehensive eye examination that one would obtain at a doctor’s office.
The Pasadena Host Lions Club, a part of the global service organization Lions Clubs International, emphasizes the importance of vision health and aims to serve the community by offering these essential services, especially to those who may not have easy access to professional eye care.
Attendees are advised to arrive early, as the event may end sooner than scheduled depending on attendance. While the club hopes to serve as many individuals as possible, they note that they cannot guarantee service for all patients in line.
The event is supported by the California Lions Friends in Sight, ESSILOR VISION FOUNDATION, and Stater Bros. charities, as indicated by their logos on the event poster.
For additional information or updates regarding Vision Fest, the public is encouraged to contact the Pasadena Host Lions Club directly by calling or texting (626) 765-7154 or emailing pasadenahostlionsclub@gmail.
