The Tournament event brings together some of the best amateur boxers in the Southern California region.

The event will take place from March 15 to March 17 at the Victory Park Recreation Center, located at 2575 Paloma St., Pasadena, CA 91107.

The tournament quickly gained popularity, leading to the establishment of regional tournaments across the United States. Over the years, the Golden Gloves tournament grew in size and reputation, becoming one of the most prestigious amateur boxing competitions globally.

Legendary boxers like Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard, and Oscar De La Hoya started their careers by competing in the Golden Gloves competitions around the U.S.

Today, the tournament is held annually in various cities in the United States, welcoming fighters aged 17-34 and divided into different weight classes. Regional champions advance to the national tournament to compete for the title of Golden Gloves champion.
