The Pasadena Public Library is set to offer free health screenings at the La Pintoresca Branch on Thursday, March 14, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., in an initiative aimed at promoting community health and well-being.

Registered nurses from Huntington Health in Pasadena, an affiliate of Cedar Sinai, will be on-site to provide free blood pressure and blood glucose screenings. In addition to these services, referrals and health education will also be provided to attendees.

Those interested in blood glucose testing should note that a two-hour fast is required prior to the test to ensure the most accurate results.

This initiative is part of the library’s ongoing commitment to provide essential health services and education to the public. By offering these free screenings, the Pasadena Public Library hopes to encourage community members to take proactive steps toward their health and well-being.
