Pasadena Records 2 Coronavirus Deaths Since Yesterday, New Total Hits 7

A city official this afternoon issued a report saying that two more Pasadena COVID -19-associated patients have died, bringing the total number of Pasadenans to die with the coronavirus to 7.

There were also 10 new cases of infected patients recorded overnight, making the new total of confirmed cases 117.

“57.8% of laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases reported were among Pasadena residents 60 years of age and under,” Pasadena spokesperson Lisa Derderian said.

“All decedents were between ages 49 and 93 years, were associated with long-term care facilities (residents or employees), and had underlying health conditions.”

Derderian also provided a list of Pasadena institutional settings with one or more Confirmed COVID-19 Case(s):

Golden Cross Healthcare
Huntington Post Acute (Pasadena Meadows)
Jasmine Terrace
Rose Garden
St. Vincents
