Pasadena Recovery Center Launches Affiliate Sober Living Residence Spruce House for Longterm Recovery Support

Michael Bloom, Co-Founder and CEO of renowned Pasadena Recovery Center announced today the official launch of recovery residence, aka sober living home, Spruce House. Spruce House is committed to providing an affordable home-like environment for men in early recovery from chemical dependency. Spruce House will help men who have successfully completed primary treatment for drugs and alcohol or for those who want to prioritize their recovery in a supportive environment.

Being affiliated with Pasadena Recovery Center, residents have easy access to outpatient services provided by Pasadena Recovery Center; Spruce House is walking distance and bikes are provided.

While Pasadena Recovery Center’s male patients are encouraged to continue their recovery programs at Spruce House, any man seeking assistance in their recovery journey is welcome. Spruce House’s mission is to encourage residents to gain self confidence, build and maintain family relationships and return to life on life’s terms free from mind altering substances. Every resident will be treated with respect and dignity.

Spruce House provides affordable residences and on-going support for recovering individuals in historic Pasadena, minutes from the Rose Bowl. The quaint property in Pasadena provides a serene home-base for those in recovery. On site staff will encourage and assist residents to become, maintain, and remain financially self sufficient through gainful employment, and most importantly, encourage active participation in 12 step fellowship.

At Spruce House, residents have full access to 5 spacious bedrooms and 3 bathrooms; private rooms are available, 70 inch flat screen T.V. with Direct TV, premium package and Internet provided in a cozy living room, Free Wi-Fi, all new furniture, gourmet kitchen, spacious back patio & BBQ, Gym, basketball court, ping pong tables, live-in Manager, security cameras, and more.

About Michael Bloom, Co-Founder & CEO

Michael Bloom is the CEO and Executive Director of Pasadena Recovery Center, a 98 bed drug and alcohol treatment center known nationally for its 12-step based comprehensive treatment program and highly skilled, licensed and certified staff. Mr. Bloom is a true leader in the recovery industry with a career spanning more than a decade. As a certified drug and alcohol counselor, Mr. Bloom has worked with addicts from all walks of life and has admitted over 4000 people into treatment.

Mr. Bloom earned degrees from the University of the Pacific, Kansei Gakuin University in Japan, the Monterey Institute of International Studies, and The School of Addiction Studies at Glendale College. Mr. Bloom currently serves on the LA County Commission for Public Services.

Mr. Bloom co-founded Pasadena Recovery Center in 2000 with his father, renowned psychiatrist Dr. Lee Bloom, and his sister, Alison Triessl.
