City officials reported six more cases of the Coronavirus and no additional deaths on Monday as the case count ticked up to 934 cases that have caused 83 deaths.
The city’s death rate continues to plummet and is now 8.88 percent, down from 10 percent where it stood for several weeks.
Despite the low numbers, city officials have been cautious about declaring the low numbers a trend.
However, there could be a surge in cases coming soon as more and more people have been spending more time outside of their homes, some of them without masks.
Over the past several days there have been several protests in Pasadena and throughout the region that could potentially lead to community spread of the virus.
