The Pasadena Symphony Association has announced a $500,000 matching gift from the Women’s Committee, a combination of a $400,000 gift given to them by the late Beebe Oliver Nuetzman and the $100,000 proceeds of the 2010 Holiday Look In Home Tour.
“This is a tremendous opportunity for all of us,†said Paul Jan Zdunek, Chief Executive Officer. “This gift has already begun to inspire new and increased donations from individuals, corporations and foundations including Wells Fargoâ€
“The Women’s Committee was lucky to have as passionate a volunteer as Beebe Nuetzman. Her dedication was exemplified by the countless hours put into fundraising for the Pasadena Symphony, their musicians and the Association’s pursuit of musical education,†said Sue Shieff, President, Women’s Committee.
A tireless volunteer and educator, Beebe continues to demonstrate her passion for the Pasadena Symphony Association’s musical endeavors and education programs by way of this generous gift. All new and increased gifts and pledges raised by the end of the Association’s fiscal year, September 30, 2011 will be matched one to one with this generous gift.
