Pasadena Unified School District Celebrates Basketball Championship Winners

The Pasadena Unified School District celebrated the winners of the PasadenaLEARNs Sports 2024 Basketball Championship this month. The championship saw teams from various schools within the district compete for the title in different divisions.

The winners were announced on the PUSD’s official Twitter account. Webster Elementary School took home the title for the Elementary Champions division. Eliot Arts Magnet emerged victorious in the Middle School JV Champions division, and McKinley School of the Arts clinched the win for the Varsity Champions division.

In a statement, the PUSD expressed pride in the teamwork displayed by the players on the court. The District quoted basketball legend Michael Jordan, saying, “Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence wins championships.”
