Pasadena Village, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping older adults age in place, plans to host its third annual Vibrant Living Resource Fair for Tuesday, February 6. The event takes place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. at the Women’s Twentieth Century Club of Eagle Rock, located at 5105 Hermosa Avenue.

The fair aims to connect those aged 55 and older with organizations and businesses offering services and support tailored to their needs.

The event will feature complimentary entry, COVID-19 vaccinations, make-and-take activities from The Hive South Pasadena, raffle prizes, and pastries from Porto’s Bakery. Brief remarks from local dignitaries begin at 11:00  a.m.

The LA County Public Health Department will be on-site offering free COVID-19 Moderna vaccinations. Those who get vaccinated at the event received a $20 gift card. Attendees were advised to bring a COVID-19 vaccination card (if applicable), ID, and any insurance information to make the process as smooth as possible. However, no one will be turned away due to lack of insurance.

The Vibrant Living Resource Fair is part of Pasadena Village’s ongoing efforts to foster in-person connections among older adults and prepare them for the challenges that come with aging. The nonprofit organization is committed to helping older adults live vibrant lives by connecting them and the resources they need.
