Some 740 customers of Pasadena Water & Power experienced power outage Tuesday morning after an unknown animal damaged PWP’s electrical equipment, Pasadena City spokesman William Boyer reported.
According to Boyer, PWP customers between Michigan and Mentor avenues north of Colorado Boulevard and south of the Foothill (210) Freeway, lost power at around 10:15 in the morning.
However, PWP repair personnel immediately restored power thirty minutes later and finished repairing the damaged equipment by 12:20 p.m.
Boyer said an unknown animal damaged a surge arrester that sparked the power outage.
