A Pasadena man was stabbed in the neck with a corkscrew bottle opener by his wife during an argument in their vehicle, according to Pasadena Police Lieutenant Edgar Sanchez.
The incident occurred on Sunday, Feb. 11th at 10:32 p.m. in the Ralphs parking lot in the 100 block of North Lake Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers found the injured victim and contacted Pasadena Fire Dept. paramedics.
The investigation determined that the couple had been arguing in their vehicle when the situation escalated into the attack.
Paramedics treated the man at the scene. He was not transported to a hospital.
The suspect, identified as Miya Baxter, 25, from Pasadena, was arrested without incident on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, according to Sanchez.
Baxter was being held in the Pasadena Jail on $30,000 bond, according to online booking records.
