A 37-year-old Pasadena woman came home to her apartment in the 500 block of South Los Robles Avenue shortly before 9 p.m. Monday night to find a man she didn’t know sitting on her living room couch.
Pasadena Police Lt. John Luna said when the victim rushed back out of her apartment and called police, the suspect made no attempt to chase or attack her but fled instead.
“The suspect made no attempt to harm the victim,” Luna said.
Arriving officers established a containment perimeter and with the help of canine units and a police helicopter conducted a yard-to-yard search, however the suspect was not found.
The suspect is described as an Asian or Pacific Islander man in his mid twenties who stands about 5′ 7″ with brown eyes and black hair that was slicked with hair gel. He was wearing black and white collared short and black pants, Lt. Luna said.
“The suspect had forced entry through a rear screen door,” Luna said, adding that nothing appeared to have been stolen.
