Pasadena’s own Wescom Credit Union commemorates a decade of community service with a gesture that warms both hands and hearts. In an annual tradition that marks Daylight Saving Time, Wescom is set to host the #WescomKindness event, offering free coffee to Southern Californians.

This Sunday, March 10, the credit union invites residents across five counties to join in the celebration at 24 select The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf locations. From the bustling streets of Los Angeles to the scenic vistas of Ventura, Wescom’s reach will extend far and wide, culminating in a day where community spirit is as rich and inviting as the coffee served.

In Pasadena, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is at 415 South Lake Avenue.

“This year’s Daylight Saving Time event is particularly special to Wescom,” Tamar Atamian, Vice President of Marketing at Wescom Credit Union, said. “It marks 10 years that we’ve been bringing a smile to people’s faces after they’ve lost an hour of sleep.”

Through the event, Wescom encourages attendees to share photos on social media platforms using the hashtag #WescomKindness for a chance to win a $500 Visa gift card.

“Wescom’s annual Daylight Saving Time event always brings added cheer and a nice pick-me-up to guests at our cafés,” Dee Hadley, Head of Marketing Americas for The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf brand, said. “Wescom and The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf enjoy our longstanding partnership because both organizations are dedicated to helping our local communities thrive.”

With Wescom allocating $48,000 worth of beverages, attendees can indulge in free coffee and tea until the $2,000 allocation per café is exhausted.

More details about the event, including participating locations and the $500 giveaway, are available at www.wescom.org/cbtl. Follow Wescom on social media to join the celebration and share in the spirit of #WescomKindness.
