Pasadena City College student Sarah Elizabeth Hansen, 19, has been named to the 2014 Tournament of Roses® Royal Court.  Selected from a group of 30 finalists, the Royal Court will act as ambassadors for the Tournament of Roses® and the Pasadena community at large.  Their reign will culminate with the 125th Rose Parade® presented by Honda and the 100th Rose Bowl® Game presented by VIZIO.The Tournament’s Queen and Court Committee selected seven members for the Royal Court based on a “number of criteria including poise, speaking ability, academic achievement, and community and school involvement.”  “We are in a state of shock but so proud of her,” said James and Beatriz Hansen, the parents of Rose Princess Sarah Hansen.
Sarah is a sophomore at Pasadena City College and plans to transfer to either UCLA or UC Berkeley. Â Sarah enjoys dance and theater and hopes to pursue a double-major of Communications and Dance. Â Sarah resides in Pasadena with her parents and three silblings, Jason, Samuel and Elizabeth. Â
