Three suspects who fled the scene of a shooting in a Pasadena neighborhood, then crashed their getaway vehicle, were in custody this morning.
Officers responded to a shooting in the area of Morton Avenue and Mountain Street, west of Fair Oaks Avenue, at 8 p.m. Friday.
As officers arrived, the suspects fled and crashed near Forest Avenue and Claremont Street, east of the Rose Bowl, according to Lt. Carolyn Gordon of the Pasadena Police Department.
No victims were struck in the shooting, Gordon said.
Police searched the area around the crash and took three suspects into custody. Two possible suspects remained outstanding, Gordon said.
Lt. Anthony Russo told Pasadena Now Saturday morning that two men and a 15-year-old boy had been arrested.
Booked for assault with a deadly weapon were Antonion Lizarraga, 24, and Michael Vasquez, 30, both of Pasadena, Russo said.
Police said that in addition to the three suspects, officers also impounded two vehicles involved in the shooting.
