Pasadena police have identified the two victims found shot in Washington Park about 6 p.m. Wednesday night.
The two have been identified as Walter Reed, 26, and Joshua Jacob, 30. Both have prior Pasadena addresses but current cities of residence are unknown.
Pasadena police Lt. Tracey Ibarra said preliminary investigation indicates that the suspect was a black man about 30 years of age, sporting a short afro hairstyle, wearing a red long sleeve shirt and armed with a handgun. Â A possible suspect vehicle was described as an unknown make and model dark colored sedan. The car left the scene eastbound on Washington Blvd. after the shooting.
Investigators believe that park goers, reportedly gathered at the park in memory of a friend who recently died, may have seen the assault.
Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact lead Detective Anthony Russo at 626-744-6489, the Pasadena Police Department at (626) 744-4241, or report anonymously at crimestoppers.com.
