The Pasadena Police Department is preparing for another traffic enforcement campaign on Friday, officials said.
The citywide extra enforcement effort will focus on traffic offenses “including, but not limited to, primary collision factors involving speed, red signals and right of way violations,” police said in a written statement.
“The Pasadena Police Department’s ultimate goal is to enforce and educate the driving public at the same time reducing serious injuries and fatal collisions,” the statement added.
Funding for Friday’s campaign is being provided by the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
