At a approximately 10:00 a.m. Monday morning the Police responded to 9-1-1 emergency call in which no information could be immediately obtained from the Wells Fargo Bank in the 300 block West Colorado Blvd.  While responding to the call, additional information was received that officers were responding to a bank robbery, possibly still in progress. Officers arrived and secured the area but the suspect had already fled the scene.Â
Subsequent investigation by police detectives indicates the suspect walked into the lobby of the bank wearing a mask.  The suspect took and undisclosed amount of money from the bank.
Witnesses describe the robber as a White male in his mid 30’s, 5’-7†to 5’-9â€, with a medium or stocky build, a black hat, grey shirt, blue jeans, and black sunglasses.
“Wells Fargo bank is offering a reward of up to $10,000 in exchange for information leading to an arrest,†says Chief of Police Phillip Sanchez. “Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Pasadena Police Department Detective Section at 744-4522 and/or FBI at 888 CANT HIDE (888 226-8443).â€
