[Updated] Pasadena POPS has moved its 2020 series to summer 2021, according to a statement released on Friday.
“As we all work in phases to re-open our community, we accept that large-scale events like ours are not yet ready to resume,” said CEO Lora Unger. “Your safety and the safety and well-being of our musicians, guest artists, staff and countless volunteers remains our top priority.”
According to Unger, all subscriptions and single tickets have been automatically transferred to the rescheduled 2021 dates.
On Friday some low risk businesses were allowed to restart business.
Bookstores, clothing stores, music stores and toy stores are now allowed to sell their wares via curbside service,
According to the new schedule, the season will kick off on in June next year.
On June 19, 2021 the Pasadena POPS will present “Sway With Me: Latin Rhythm and Swing.”
The POPS will celebrate some of the greatest music of all time on July 10, 2021 with the “Road to Motown” and then close out July with “Fleetwood Mac: A Tribute.”
On August 14, 2021, the Pasadena POPS presents the penultimate show of the season “Michael Feinstein Sings Sinatra’s Songbook” before closing out the season Aug. 28, 2021 with “100 Years of Broadway.”
