A portion of South Fair Oaks Avenue in Pasadena will be closed for restriping Sunday night and Monday morning, according to city officials.
The roadwork was initially scheduled for May 1-2 but had to be postponed due to unfavorable weather conditions.
The affected stretch of S. Fair Oaks Ave. lies between Congress St. and Palmetto Dr. All lanes in both directions will be closed from 9 p.m. Sunday, May 7, to 3 a.m. to Monday, May 8, for the removal and installation of new road markings.
Following this, concrete K-rail barriers will be installed from 3 a.m. to 6 a.m. on Monday, May 8.
Restriping is a routine maintenance procedure aimed at enhancing the visibility of road markings, improving safety, and promoting better traffic flow.
