Preliminary Hearing Scheduled in CVS Stabbing Case

A preliminary hearing is scheduled to be held Tuesday for a man accused of stabbing and killing another man in the parking lot of a local pharmacy.

Enrique Real, of Baldwin Park, is charged with fatally stabbing a man in a CVS parking lot in Pasadena.

He is facing one count of murder and is being helpd on $2 million bail.

Real, 19, of Baldwin Park, was arrested shortly after the fatal stabbing of 30-year old Altadena resident Christopher Flores, 30.

The incident took place about 8:15 p.m on Sept. 20, 2020. at Orange Grove Boulevard and Fair Oaks Avenue.

First responders responded to calls reporting the incident and rushed Flores to Huntington Hospital. Witnesses were able to provide police with a description of Real, who was found trying to leave the area and taken into custody, according to the authorities.

Police Lt. Jesse Carrillo told Pasadena Now in June 2020 that the two men knew each other, but did not provide information on the motive of the attack.
