PUSD Confirms: Superintendent Edwin Diaz Suffered Mild stroke

Pasadena Unified School District Superintendent Edwin Diaz suffered a mild stroke last Thursday night while at home and was transported to Huntington Hospital, PUSD spokesperson Binti Harvey said in an email Monday night.

“After extensive testing, he was found to be completely clear of any physical or cognitive debilitation.  He will return to work on Thursday before leaving for a much-anticipated 10-day vacation on Friday,” Harvey said.
