PUSD Superintendent Comments on Governor’s Revised Budget Proposal

Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) Superintendent Jon R. Gundry issued the following statement today about Governor Brown’s revised budget proposal:

“Although the additional revenue we expect to receive from Sacramento does not close our budget deficit, I am optimistic that the May Revise will provide some fiscal relief to PUSD. I am also happy to see that the Local Control Funding Formula is still part of the Governor’s budget proposal. The Pasadena Unified School District is proud to stand with Governor Brown in his fight for equity in California’s public school system.”
