Three men wearing black hooded sweatshirts assaulted a 44-year-old pushcart vendor from Arcadia on Wednesday afternoon as he was using the restroom at Victory Park on Paloma Street in Pasadena.

Police said the victim lost an undisclosed amount of cash in the strong-arm robbery. The robbers approached the victim from behind and physically assaulted him inside the restroom on the west side of Victory Park at 2575 Paloma Street, at about 4:06 p.m.

After the assault, the suspects stole money from the victim and fled on foot. The victim was not seriously injured and did not require medical treatment, police said.

Officers responded on the scene but did not immediately locate the suspects.

Anyone with information about the suspects and the incident is advised to call the Pasadena Police Department at (626) 744-4241.
