The University Club will host a five-day outdoor Barbecue Americano from 4 to 8 p.m. from July 29 to Aug. 2. with guest chef Robin Salzer from Robin’s Wood Fire BBQ.
The event will include live music from a proper social distance on July 29 and July 31.
Safe outdoor dining and grab and go orders will also be available.
“When I got a call from Sandi Mejia a couple of weeks ago about being the guest chef for the University Club’s BBQ Americano kick off I was thrilled at the opportunity to share my 40 years of BBQ experience with them,” Salzer said. “Baby Back Ribs, Smoked Hot Links, Santa Maria Tri Tip, BBQ Chicken, 5 Cheese Mac & Cheese and our almost World Famous Blueberry Cornbread will make the UC your BBQ pit stop. Pit Stop as in real deal wood smoked and fired BBQ. In today’s terminology this is a Robin’s Wood Fire BBQ pop up.”
