Rose Bowl Aquatics Center Appoints Jean Luc Miralda as New Head Diving Coach

The Rose Bowl Aquatics Center (RBAC) announced today the appointment of Jean Luc Miralda as its new head diving coach, effective immediately. Miralda brings a distinguished background in diving and coaching to the program and aims to propel it to new heights.

Miralda boasts an impressive athletic career, holding records in 1, 3, and 10-meter diving events. He earned recognition as an NCAA DIII All-American and MIAA Champion, representing Honduras at the 2016 Olympic trials.

“Jean Luc’s arrival marks an exciting chapter for the RBAC diving program,” said Jimmy Francis, President and Executive Director of RBAC. “We are thrilled to have him on board and look forward to seeing the program flourish under his guidance.

Miralda’s leadership philosophy is summed up in his mantra, “Don’t Settle.”

This philosophy fueled his success in expanding the Michigan Lakeshore Diving program from 6 divers to over 80, producing numerous state qualifiers, record holders, and national-level competitors.

The RBAC diving program caters to athletes of all skill levels, from beginners to those aspiring for the highest levels of US Diving standards. Miralda’s arrival marks a new chapter, aiming to build upon the program’s legacy of excellence and foster a supportive environment for divers to thrive.

The Rose Bowl Aquatics Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting health and wellness through aquatics programs, has served the Pasadena community for over three decades.
