Police arrested a 32-year-old Pasadena man Saturday after searching his home in the 1000 block of N. Raymond Avenue and allegedly finding about a half pound of methamphetamines.
Pasadena police Lt. William Grisafe said officers assigned to the Special Enforcement Section (SES) at the Pasadena Police Department served a search warrant at the suspect’s residence at about 1:30 p.m.
The search warrant was obtained after officers developed information the resident, identified as Akeem Ross, was allegedly involved in the sale of narcotics.
Following the search and the reported discovery of prohibited drugs, the officers arrested Ross without incident.
Ross is known to be a gang member who is on active parole, police said. He was booked at the Pasadena jail.
