A 66-year-old Glendale woman was arrested early Wednesday, hours after she led police on a pursuit through Pasadena while blowing through red lights and driving “recklessly,” authorities said.

Witnesses called police about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday to report seeing a reckless driver in the area of Hill Avenue and Walnut Street, said Pasadena police Lt. Pete Hettema.

Officers spotted a car matching the description at a gas station along Colorado Boulevard, the lieutenant said.

As they approached to see what was happening, “She ran to her vehicle and drove away at a high rate of speed,” Hettema said.

Police followed the car to the intersection of Allen Avenue and Walnut Street, where it blew through a red light, he said. The officers tried to pull the car over, but it continued on, initiating a pursuit.

The driver, according to Hettema, “committed numerous road violations” and got onto the westbound 210 Freeway.

Once officers determined the identity of the suspected driver, they canceled their pursuit and continued to follow the driver with a helicopter as she made her way onto the 101 Freeway, at times driving along the shoulder.

Glendale police were notified of the situation and found the car and suspect at or near her Glendale home about 3 a.m. Wednesday, officials said.

Arminiee Boudaghian, 66, was booked on suspicion of felony evading of police, according to police and Los Angeles County booking records.

Bail for Boudaghian was set at $75,000 pending her initial court appearance, records show.
