Police investigated after gunshots rang out in a Pasadena neighborhood late Monday, but no victims or suspects were found, officials said.
The gunfire was reported just after 7:20 p.m. along Sunset Avenue, just south of Howard Street, Pasadena police Lt. Sean Dawkins said.
Officers found spent bullet casings in the area, but no signs of anyone or anything that had been struck.
The shots were only heard, and no witnesses reported seeing a shooter, Dawkins said. No further details were available.
