Gunshots rang out in a Pasadena neighborhood Friday evening, but no victims were found, police said.

The shooting took place just before 7 p.m. in a residential neighborhood in the area of Sierra Bonita Avenue and Asbury Drive, Pasadena police Lt. Anthony Burgess said.

Witnesses reported seeing an occupant of a white, four-door car firing about six shots out of the vehicle, he said.

No injuries were reported, and police did not find an apparent intended target of the gunfire, Burgess added.

No further details were available.
