The “Cursillo†(a short course in Christian living) is an international movement under the authority of the Bishop of each diocese for strengthening adult leadership in the church and other environments. The Cursillo method includes a three day weekend in which a team of laity and priests present the fundamental principles of Christian living (piety, study, action); ongoing small groups meet during which members make themselves mutually accountable for living these principles; larger meetings (Ultreyas) share an on-going exploration
of ways in which to bring the, “Good News of Jesus Christ,” to all environments through planned action both as individuals and in groups.
Upcoming retreats will be held in Pomona for Women, March 9—12. Additional information and candidate applications are available on the Hawks Hall bulletin board. For more information, contact Keiko Sakatani, John and Barbara Larson, Adela Gomez, or Joy Barry.
