Sierra Madre United Methodist Church: Rally Day 2012!

The Sierra Madre United Methodist Church is enjoining everyone to mark their calendars for Sunday, September 9 to join them for this year’s Rally Day Celebration. The church will be serving hamburgers and hot dogs and ask that everyone bring a dish to share. The fun starts at 5:00 p.m. and the community will be in Hartzell Hall if it is too hot, otherwise they will be on the patio next to the library lounge.

This year the Sierra Madre United Methodist Church will be hosting an activity that involves teamwork, quick thinking and Bible trivia/knowledge. Please come prepared to play and win!

The church is asking that everyone bring a “white elephant” gift for the prize selection. If any member has three people in their family, please bring three items. This is a perfect opportunity to re-gift that vase you got for your birthday that clashes with everything in your house, or something that is gently used that you know would find a good home with another church member. Bring it wrapped or in a gift bag.
