Firefighters made quick work of a brush fire that ignited in the Arroyo Seco in Pasadena early Tuesday, authorities said.
The fire was reported just after 12:30 a.m. on the west side of the Arroyo, just north of the La Loma Road Bridge, according to city spokeswoman Lisa Derderian.
Firefighters declared the fire out in about 20 minutes, keeping it at a size of about 50-feet by 50-feet, she said. No structures were threatened.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
