SoCal McDonald’s Restaurants Rally Together to Raise $15,000 for Childhood Cancer Awareness

Published on Friday, September 8, 2023 | 3:59 pm

In honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month this September, Southern California McDonald’s restaurants are inviting customers to help them raise $15,000 on September 15, for Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC), which helps keep families with children who are sick together and near the care they need. To support, simply round-up to the nearest dollar the next time you place an order at your local McDonald’s on the kiosk, at the counter or in the Drive Thru.

For families with children receiving medical treatment, it’s their time together that gives them the continued strength and support they need. This is why McDonald’s SoCal is calling on its customers to give a little change that’ll make a BIG impact with the Childhood Cancer Awareness Challenge.

“Rounding up your total seems small but it’s so impactful. The change adds up quickly and, in turn, ensures children receive every possible minute of their family’s love, care and laughter while receiving care at nearby hospitals,” said Todd Horner, a local McDonald’s Owner/Operator. “We’re proud to continue supporting the mission of Ronald McDonald Houses in SoCal and finding ways for our customers and wider community to support as well.”
