Social Distancing and Safety Precautions in Council Chambers

Chairs are spaced out at Tuesday’s emergency City Council meeting, to encourage social distancing amid the Coronavirus crisis. The council took up a number of matters related to the crisis, including affirming a Proclamation if Local Emergency, a moratorium on evictions, and considering various aid measures for local businesses hit hard economically. Sanitizing wipes were at the public speaker’s podium and the Sergeant at Arms wore a mask.
