IDENTITY THEFT/CREDIT CARD FRAUD/CHECK FRAUD

• 1-7-15, 7:00 AM, 1700 block of Oxley. Suspect uses victim’s information to open credit card accounts and make unauthorized purchases.
• 2-2-15, 8:35 PM to 8:45 PM, 2000 block of Marengo. Suspect uses victim’s name and social security number to file taxes.
• 1-30-15 to 2-6-15, 12:00 AM to 9:18 AM, 1300 block of Via Del Rey. Suspect uses victim’s debit card information and makes several fraudulent charges.

 

THEFT

• 1-15-15, 8:00 AM to 1-30-15, 11:00 AM, 2000 block of Monterey. Suspect takes loss from victim’s property. LOSS: Mail.

• 2-4-15, 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, 900 block of Fair Oaks. Suspect takes loss when victim is occupied with assisting customers. LOSS: Cell phone.

• 2-5-15, 12:50 PM to 12:52 PM, 1100 block of Fair Oaks (Vons). Employee notices suspect walk out of store with loss and notifies police. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, 26, Issaquah, WA. LOSS: Liquor (Recovered).

• 2-6-15, 4:22 PM to 4:47 PM, 300 block of Pasadena. Suspect enters victim’s unlocked vehicle and searches for coins. ’14 Audi Q5. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 31 years, Los Angeles.

• 2-6-15, 7:07AM to 7:23 AM, 1700 block of State. ’14 Toyota Tacoma. Suspect(s) remove and take loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Tailgate.

• 2-7-15, 8:07 PM to 8:26 PM, 1100 block of Fair Oaks (Vons). Suspects enter store and takes loss without paying. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: S1-Female, Black, 20s. S2 – Female, Black, 20s. LOSS: Liquor.

• 2-8-15, 9:45 AM to 10:03 AM, 1100 block of Fair Oaks (Vons). Suspects enter store and take loss without paying. SUSPECTS ARRESTED: S1-Male, Hispanic, 30 years, Los Angeles. S2- Male, Hispanic, 24 years,Maywood. LOSS: Groceries (recovered).

• 2-8-15, 9:54 AM to 9:56 AM, 1100 block of Fair Oaks (Vons). Suspect enters store and takes loss without paying. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Black, 25 years, Compton. LOSS: Shaving razors.

• 2-6-15 to 2-9-15, 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM, 1400 block of Indiana. Suspect(s) gain entry to a residential construction site by cutting a pad lock that secured two gates around the site. Suspect(s) then take loss. LOSS: Power tools and copper wiring.

 

DUI

2-5-15, 1:40 PM, Huntington/Portola. Suspect is stopped for a traffic violation and found to be driving under the influence of alcohol. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 53 years, Los Angeles.

 

AUTO BURGLARY
2-5-15 to 2-6-15, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 400 block of Oak Lawn. ’11 Toyota Prius. Suspect(s) gain entry into victim’s vehicle through unknown means and take loss. LOSS: Credit cards, cash.

 

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
2-9-15, 5:50 PM to 6:40 PM, 1800 block of State. Suspect(s) steal loss from an apartment laundry room. LOSS: Clothes.

 

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY
2-10-15, 12:30 AM to 5:45 AM, 700 block of Fair Oaks. Suspect(s) gain entry to victim’s business by smashing a glass door located at the front entrance. Suspect(s) then take loss. LOSS: Cash.

 

VANDALISM
2-7-15, 2:10 PM to 2:11 PM, 1900 block of Illinois. ’95 GMC, ’89 BMW 325i. Suspect sprays two vehicles with spray paint. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, 50 – 60 years, wearing a gray baseball cap, blue shirt, gray pants, black belt, gray suspenders.
