[UPDATED] According to the U.S. Treasury Department, Pasadena residents could soon receive $600 in their bank accounts.
The U.S. Treasury Department announced the second round of stimulus checks had been sent out.
According to one local bank, employees started seeing pending payments in bank accounts this morning.
People have continued to struggle since the virus forced businesses to shut down. Southern California remains under a stringent Safe-At-Home order that has shut down all but essential businesses.
The direct deposits will continue into next week, and paper checks were mailed out on Wednesday. Most people can expect direct deposit checks in their bank accounts after Jan. 4.
