Suspects in Shooting Arrested

On Friday, at 2:55 p.m. Pasadena Police officers responded to a report of gunshots in the 1000 block of N. Los Robles Avenue. Responding officers found one male shooting victim. He was transported to a local area hospital where he was treated for a non-life threatening injury.

Two suspects, a male and a female, were seen fleeing the area in a light colored car.

The two suspects were arrested within 24 hours of the crime by an investigative team, comprised of officers from Detectives Section.

The investigation led Detectives to a hotel room in the City of Commerce. The investigative team arrested the suspects early Saturday morning and seized a handgun believed to have been used in the shooting.

The suspects identified by Pasadena Police as Luis Chavez, MH 28, and Rene Calderon, FH 37, were booked at the Pasadena Police Department Jail for attempted homicide.
