Flintridge Proper Bar and Restaurant’s chef Eli Irland will compete on this week’s episode of Food Network’s “Chopped!”
Irland and his competitors will be making hamburgers in some shape or form for every round, starting with veal burgers for appetizers.
In the entree round, the show said a quail egg caused a big headache for some of the competitors. Another highlight of this week’s episode is the dessert burger.
“Chopped!” will air on Sunday, February 9 at 9:00 p.m. The Proper will also hold a question and answer portion with Irland after the broadcast.
The Flintridge Proper was created by local entrepreneur and longtime area resident, Brady Caverly, and his wife, Mary Elizabeth.
The restaurant is located at 464 Foothill Blvd., La Cañada Flintridge. For more information, visit http://www.theproper.com.
