A house fire broke out at a historic three-story Victorian-style home in the 200 block of South Orange Grove Boulevard’s famed “Millionaire’s Row” area on Wednesday, March 20, according to the Pasadena Fire Department.

The fire was concentrated in the chimney area and eaves on the roof, Pasadena Fire Department Spokesperson Lisa Derderian said.

Firefighters successfully confined and extinguished the flames in the area of origin and knocked down the flames in less than half an hour.

Derderian said six engines, two trucks, one rescue ambulance, and two battalion chiefs responded to the blaze from the Pasadena and San Marino Fire Departments.

The Pasadena Police Department assisted with traffic control during the incident.

No residents were displaced and no injuries were reported.

The cause was under investigation.
