Police are looking for three suspects who robbed a man of his wallet on Oakland Avenue and Orange Grove Boulevard at about 3:55 am Tuesday morning.
Pasadena Police Lt. John Mercado said the victim, a Pasadena resident, went to a liquor store in the area at approximately 11 p.m. Monday night to buy alcohol. He was in the shop when one of the suspects, a female, asked him for money. He refused to give her any, and she followed him out of the store.
The victim walked to the corner of Oakland Ave. and Orange Grove Blvd. where he was attacked from the rear by the female suspect and two additional male suspects. During the fight, his wallet was removed from his pants pocket. He was knocked to the ground and thinks he might have lost consciousness. Lt. Mercado said, “The victim was unable to tell us what happened between 11:00 p.m. and 3:55 in the morning when he reported the incident.”
The victim sustained injuries to his arm and a cut lip but refused medical attention.
The suspects are described as two black males, between 30-40 years old, wearing all black clothing. The third suspect is a black female also wearing all black clothing.
The suspects are still at large.
