Patients at the Huntington Health Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) patients, along with their families and dedicated staff, were treated to a heartwarming Halloween surprise when the Tournament of Roses’ 105th Rose Queen, Naomi Stillitano, and her Royal Court paid them a visit.

“The Court visited with our tiniest patients and their families and learned about Huntington’s level III B NICU for babies born prematurely or with medical problems,” said a statement by Huntington Health Wednesday. “In addition, Huntington staff enjoyed meeting the court and hearing about their royal experiences so far.”

The Royal Court engaged the staff about how Huntington Health provides specialized care at the NICU for newborn infants facing unique medical needs.

Huntington Health also extended a “special congratulations” to Royal Court Princesses Phoebe Ho and Emmerson Tucker who have both served as dedicated volunteers at Huntington Health.

“We appreciate their dedication to our community,” the statement said. “The entire Huntington family will be cheering for them on January 1st during the Tournament of Roses Parade.”

The Halloween visit was arranged by the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association as an annual tradition. It is one of the many engagements and community events that the Royal Court will be going to even before the New Year Rose Parade and Rose Bowl Game and in the course of their one-year reign.
