Two men were wounded Tuesday night during a drive-by shooting that occurred on the 800 block of Sacramento Avenue, police said.

Deputies at the Altadena Sheriff’s Station responded to the shooting and found the victims — one shot in the forearm and buttocks and the other in the leg — in serious condition, according to Lieutenant Tuinstra of the Crescenta Valley Police Department.

The men were transported to the Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena and are now in stable condition, authorities said.

A witness stated that both victims were standing next to a white sedan when an unknown vehicle — some type of SUV – possibly a black Escalade — pulled next to them and opened fire without warning.

Anyone with information about this incident is urged to call the Altadena Sheriff’s Station at (626) 798-1131.

[Editor’s Note: This story has been corrected. The original reported the shooting took place in the 500 block of Sacramento Avenue. In fact, law enforcement says the incident actually occurred in the 800 block.]
