Two pickup trucks were found lit on fire early Wednesday morning in what authorities say is a possible arson.

The vehicles were on fire in the 1100 block of Summit Avenue around 3:41 a.m., according to Lieutenant Mark Goodman of the Pasadena Police Department.

“Officers responded to a request for assistance from the Pasadena Fire Department regarding a vehicle fire,” Goodman said. “On arrival, the officers observed that two pickup trucks had been damaged by fire. Subsequent investigation by the fire department revealed the fire was suspicious in nature and deemed a possible arson.”

According to Goodman, the trucks were parked on the curb line next to each other. One of them was completely destroyed while the other had front-end damage.

No suspects have been found or named yet, but an arson report has been generated Goodman said.
