UCLA Football Spring Game Comes to Rose Bowl on April 27

The UCLA Football Spring Game is set to come to the iconic Rose Bowl Stadium on April 27, according to an announcement last week.

The news was revealed by UCLA’s new head football coach, DeShaun Foster, during the UCLA-USC men’s basketball game on Feb. 25. The UCLA Football Twitter account echoed the announcement, tweeting, “The Spring Game is headed back to @rosebowlstadium!”

Foster, a UCLA legend who rushed for over 3,000 yards during his college career, assumed control of the program in February.

Previously held at Drake Stadium on campus, the Bruins Spring Game will provide fans with their first glimpse of the 2024 UCLA squad. Under the guidance of new coach Foster and his staff, including the recently appointed offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy, the team will participate in drills and scrimmages.

In addition to the football activities, the event will also feature a fan appreciation day complete with prizes and a postgame concert at the Rose Bowl. The return to the renowned venue has sparked excitement among UCLA supporters.

The Bruins are looking to bounce back from a disappointing 2023 season, which saw them finish 7-5 overall and 5-4 in Pac-12 play under former coach Chip Kelly who left UCLA for Ohio State.

With a new staff, Foster aims to rebuild the Bruins into a Big Ten title contender.
