Spike in Scammers Claiming to be From Pasadena Water and Power, Threatening Shutoffs

If you receive a phone call from someone claiming to be from Pasadena Water and Power demanding payment or your service will be shut off it is a scam.

On Wednesday, at least 20 local residents received fake calls from (626) 744-4006 demanding payment.

Pasadena Water and Power will never call customers demanding payment or they will shut off your power. Instead, the PWP mails notices to its customers.

If you receive a call and you have questions, please call PWP customer service at (626) 744-4005 or call the police at (626) 744-4241
