Sunday and Monday mornings will be cool and shrouded in dense fog, National Weather Service forecasters said.
The NWS issued a Fog advisory in effect for Pasadena until 9 a.m.
Forecasters expected visibility of only one-quarter mile or less and said the very low visibility will create dangerous driving conditions. They urged drivers to slow down, use headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of them.
Monday morning is expected to see patchy fog before 11 a.m., the forecasters said.
Both days will be in the low 70’s. The week will see a warming trend, however.
Strong high pressure combined with a moderate offshore flow from the northeast will bring a major warming trend for mid- to late-week, the forecasters said.
Temperatures will soar into the 80s and possibly 90 over the coastal valleys on Thursday and Friday.
